Certifications in Commercial Credit
Jump-start your career—demonstrate your experience and expertise with professional credentials in business credit. Join a select group of your peers who have shown they have what it takes to be recognized in their field. The National Association of Credit Management awards three levels of credentials: n The Credit Business Associate (CBA) shows mastery of three disciplines central to business credit: Business Credit Principles, Basic Financial Accounting and Financial Statement Analysis. n The Credit Business Fellow (CBF) is available to those who have earned a CBA, completed additional coursework and have solid career experience in business credit. The three courses needed to qualify for a CBF are Business Law, Credit Law, and Financial Statements n The Certified Credit Executive (CCE) recognizes both career breadth and depth. Achievement of a CCE shows that you have the knowledge and experience to manage the business credit function at an executive level. Candidates must pass a rigorous exam that tests applied skills in accounting, finance, domestic and international credit concepts, management and law. Successful applicants must demonstrate regular participation in seminars, workshops, classes and other educational forums.
